The patent B4 – learning to Freefly

What is that B4? :

This discipline is the art to fall in all positions. This is our discipline of competition, what we love above all. It is the maximum freedom in compliance with safety rules. Vertical positions and movements will allow speeds higher that dish. It will therefore be necessary to manage its inertia! We therefore organise training courses for progress in this area of flight. On the complexity of the learning part, cutting the B4 in several modules:

 THE bj7, intermediate patent which includes:

-Head up (sitting):

The objectives for this module are the following:

  • the position control
  • up, down
  • forward, backward
  • separation

-Trace:

The objectives for this module are the following:

  • drifting on the belly
  • drift on the back
  • transitions

 THE B4 full, once one has the bj7:

-The upside down:

The objectives for this module are the following:

  • control of the transition
  • the position control
  • forward, backward
  • return safely to the head top position

 

The course will also be the opportunity to check your level under sail, to help you better fly your glider to land gently, and if necessary upgrade, the theory on release rules, separation etc...
